Clean a Stainless Steal Sink

  1. First clean your sink with soap and water
  2. Sprinkle baking soda into the sink
  3. Gently rub in with a damp sponge
  4. Rinse away the baking soda, then dry with a soft cloth
  5. As an added bonus you can get a great shine by rubbing in olive oil, baby oil, or spray with window cleaner and rub dry (my Mom taught me that little trick with windex)

Scrub your Shower

  • You can use baking soda for scrubbing down the shower. Just sprinkle and rub in with a damp cloth, rinse with water. As an added bonus try adding essential oil to the baking soda and store in a jar! What better way to get satisfaction from cleaning than having a nice pleasant scent. 🙂

Keep your Refrigerator smelling Fresh

  • A box or small bowl of baking soda in the refrigerator, freezer, or any cupboard will keep away unpleasant odors. It also works very well to sprinkle some inside the bottom of your trash container.

Clean burned on food off a pot

  1. You will need to cover the bottom of the pan with a layer of baking soda, add warm water to create a pase and let sit for a few hours or even over night if it’s really bad.
  2. Wipe out the pot with a damp sponge. The food should just wipe right out unless it is really bad (don’t worry I burn food  all the time!)
  3. If you still have stuck on food, add more baking soda and water (more water this time) and boil the mixture in the pot for a few minutes.
  4. let cool, then wipe clean

**This also works well for the crock pot 🙂
