Guess what?? You can make your own microwave popcorn without having to buy the expensive boxes from the store!!!
Homemade Microwave Popcorn
What you need
1) 1/4 cup popcorn kernals
2) 1/2 teaspoon of canola or olive oil
3) a paper lunch sack
4) salt (optional) ***
Directions
Add Popcorn kernels, oil, and some salt into a paper lunch sack. Fold 3 or 4 times and tape closed with scotch tape. Microwave about 2 minutes (Note that not all microwaves cook the same. Listen for the popping to slow and stop early if needed. This may take some practice to know how long to cook in your microwave! 🙂
*** For a kettle corn flavor add a spoon full of sugar before sealing bag!
Not only will this save you money but it is also healthier for you!! 🙂
I’ll have to try this. Now to buy some scotch tape.
The old man loves popcorn!~
