So when Learning Resources contacted me to try out their Fruit & Veggie Tote I was ecstatic!! One thing I want my child to learn in roll play is about good, healthy food choices. I see tons of roll playing materials that mimic fast food restaurants, ice cream, chips and soda. I am not saying those things are horrible by all means, as a matter of fact they can be quite fun. What I do want to instill in my child is a love for food that is good for her. What better way than a tote packed full of fruits and veggies!!
My daughters eyes lit up when I opened the Fruit & Veggie Tote. The colors were so bright and she started yelling bapple bapple (her
way of saying apple). The stitching on the tote looked great and has taken her abuse well. I absolutely LOVE the feel and texture of the fruits and vegetables. I have seen quite a few sets sold at the store and haven picked them up because you can just tell that the pieces are very cheaply made. Not with the fruit and veggie tote!! The pieces are very well made and they just feel great when holding them in your hand. We have had tons of fun with it already and I cannot wait until summertime when we can play garden!
